Gouri Sahni is an interior decorator based out of New Delhi, India. She believes that the environment itself is a powerful tool that, when properly curated, can assist in developing good sense of well-being and sense of self. She works to translate her clients’ needs into the physical world and is thrilled to have the opportunity to do such meaningful work.
She has been practising interiors since 1991. Founder and lead designer of her own design firm, NUVEAU ART, this company is a former member of Export Promotion Council of Handicrafts. She has been a Curator for "Elegant living" Expo Mart, Noida, India?. She is also a member of FICCI ladies organisation. She has Spent years, working as a consultant and designer.
Gouri’s versatile approach, discerning eye for beauty and solid foundation manifests itself in the diverse projects she takes on. Her commercial and residential projects include celebrity residences, vacation homes, beachfront restaurants and outdoor work such as patios, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and complete turnkey interiors , commission work for DMRC, five stars, farm houses and corporate houses .
She has gained knowledge and skills in the history of art and design. She has written multiple articles about quality living and is a regular guest juror for student presentations at GG Academy, Kalkaji, New Delhi.
Her design principles simply aim for a world class output. She aims to achieve a unified and harmonious product that stretches beyond the boundaries of interior designing. She has delivered results whilst achieving breathtaking concepts which benchmark the high standards and quality of lifestyle for our clients. She is very consistent and continually improves her technology to match world standards, which is a catalyst to her business propositions.
